UPSEE 2014

Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Entrance (UPSEE) 2014 exam is conducted by U.P technical board for admission in UG courses in all private and government colleges affiliated to UPTU (GBTU & MTU earlier).It is a yearly entrance exam for engineering, pharmacy, architecture and management courses. There are a total of 630 colleges in the state.

Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) has announced the dates for online and offline applications for UPSEE 2014.The aspirants must check all the details regarding application form.

APPLICATION FORM

The UPSEE 2014 information brochure and application forms for both offline and online mode will be available in first week of March. The online application form can be downloaded from official website of UPTU & payment can be made through challan, debit card & credit card.

For offline mode, candidate can purchase the form from the main post office of UP, Delhi & Dehradun on payment of Rs 1000 (General candidates) or Rs 500(for SC/ST/girl candidate).There will be approx one month for filling up the forms. The students need to pay attention to the eligibility criteria to avoid any difficulties in future admission.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

·         Candidate must have passed intermediate/ senior secondary examination or its equivalent from a recognized board in UP or whose parents are domicile of UP.

·         Candidate must have secured 45% in the general category & 40% for SC /ST category.

·         Candidate must have the subject combination as provided: Math and Physics compulsory and Chemistry, Biology and bio-tech subjects are optional according to the field.

·         Candidates appearing in the final board exam 2014 are eligible for this exam.

IMPORTANT DATES TO BE REMEMBERED

According to the latest official circular by UPTU this schedule is to be followed. It will provide students  a rough idea of the exam and help them in managing their schedule.

·         The offline & online application would be made available for students from last week of February 2014.

·         The confirmation of online application will be sent in last week of March 2014.

·         Admit Cards will be available in first week of April 2014.

·         UPSEEE 2014 EXAM will be on 20^th April 2014.( Dates are not final)

·         Result would be out by 5^th June 2014 & counseling will be over till 20^th July 2014.

·         Commencement of classes before 5^th August 2014.
